In the context of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27. April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data, we fulfil our information obligation in connection with the processing of your personal data.

We process your personal data for marketing purposes, through which we inform you about news and changes in connection with our services. We can only process with your consent. We further process the following personal data:

Processing based on the legitimate interest of the controller:
On the basis of legitimate interest, we are entitled to process personal data for identification and identity verification when booking a lecture. On this legal basis, we may also process personal data for the recovery of debts or in the event of litigation.
What entities have access to your personal data?
We use the services of external intermediaries and third parties, e.g. for IT administration, information system administration, debt recovery, legal representation in litigation, tender procedures. For all suppliers, we ensure that they comply with applicable laws, are bound by confidentiality and process your data only within the scope of the concluded contracts and protect it adequately in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR and international standards.
How long will we keep your personal data?
We will keep your personal data for the duration of the contract and for the statutory period for archiving it or for the time necessary to achieve the purpose.
Personal data that are processed for the purposes of legitimate interest are processed only to the extent necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose.
What rights do you have in relation to the processing of your personal data?
Right of access to personal data:
The controller is obliged to provide the data subject (the person whose personal data it processes) with confirmation that it processes personal data relating to him or her, and the data subject has the right to obtain access to his or her personal data to the extent provided for in Article 15 of the GDPR.
Right to rectification of personal data:
Data subjects have the right to have their personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete. The controller must comply with the request for rectification of personal data without undue delay.
Right to erasure (oblivion):
The controller is obliged to erase the personal data of the data subject without undue delay if:
- the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed,
- the data subject withdraws the consent on the basis of which the processing is carried out,
- if there is no other legal basis for the processing of personal data,
- the data subject objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for processing,
- the data subject objects to the processing and the personal data have been unlawfully processed,
- the personal data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation under Union law or the law of a Member State to which the controller is subject,
- personal data was collected in connection with the offer of information society services.
The data subject may also submit a request for erasure if his or her data is unlawfully processed and unlawfully in relation to the GDPR.
The erasure request shall not be invoked by the controller as long as the processing is necessary:
- to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information,
- to fulfil a legal obligation,
- for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest,
- for reasons of public interest in the field of public health,
- for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research or statistical purposes,
- to prove, exercise or defend legal claims.
Right to restriction of processing of personal data:
The data subject shall have the right to have the controller restrict the processing of his or her personal data in respect of one of the following cases:
- the data subject contests the accuracy of the personal data during a period allowing the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data,
- the processing is unlawful and the data subject objects to the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of their use,
- the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the data subject needs them to establish, exercise or defend legal claims,
- the data subject has objected to processing pursuant to Article 21(1) of Directive 95/46/EC 1, pending verification that the legitimate grounds on the part of the controller override those of the data subject.
Where processing has been restricted, such personal data shall be processed except for retention:
- only with the consent of the data subject,
- to prove, exercise or defend legal claims,
- to protect the rights of another natural or legal person,
- for reasons of important public interest of the Union or of a Member State.
The right to the transfer of personal data:
The data subject has the right to obtain his or her personal data that he or she has provided to the controller and has the right to transfer that data to another controller (e.g. when changing the provider of a particular service). Upon request, the controller is obliged to allow the transmission of data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (e.g. XML or CSV).
