how to take care of piercings ?
Maintaining proper hygiene and care is key to maintaining a healthy piercing. It is important to let the piercing breathe as much as possible, avoid touching it with dirty hands, and avoid irritating or retracting it.
With navel piercing, it is recommended not to restrict the area with tight clothing or belts to prevent infection. It must not be taped over and the fixing of the beads to the jewellery should be checked regularly.
Piercings require cleaning with a disinfectant, ideally twice a day, and extra care is needed after each visit to public areas such as solariums, saunas, gyms or swimming pools.
